TENNIS FACILITY:
White Columns Country Club offers 7 lighted tennis courts that were resurfaced and painted in 2011. It is the proud host of men’s ladies, mixed and juniors ALTA and USTA teams. Throughout the year, our tennis professionals organize several competitive and fun events for our tennis lovers to enjoy. We also offer adult and junior private lessons, as well as clinics, to help you improve your game, whether at the beginning or advanced levels. A tennis ball machine is also available for rent.

Bobby Schindler, Head Tennis Professional: 770-598-8378
Bobby has been the Head Tennis Professional at White Columns since January, 2001. He is a certified member of the U.S. Professional Tennis Association and the Georgia Professional Tennis Association. Before joining the WCCC team, Bobby directed tennis programs for several other prominent country clubs and conducted instructional clinics for the Atlanta Thunder World Team Tennis and the AT & T Challenge.
Michael Halford, Tennis Professional & Director of Junior Development: 678-386-9207
Michael trained at the Universal Tennis Academy in Marietta, Georgia when he was a junior in H.S. He was ranked in Georgia and the Southern section of the USTA and played college tennis at Tusculum College, where he earned all conference status in his sophomore season. Professionally, he began his career as the Assistant Professional at Idle Hour Country Club in Macon, Georgia. Most recently, he was Director of Adult Programming and Junior Academy Head Professional at Racquet Club of the South. Michael is a certified USTA high performance coach who has traveled with nationally ranked juniors including Atlanta’s Austin Smith, soon to be attending UGA on a full tennis scholarship.
